The Aloha Waterwomen Clinic taught by Shawna Cropas (of the Aloha Maui Windsurfing Clinics) and Tatiana Howard (of the Butterfly Effect) has teamed up with professional kitesurf instructor, Karen Lang, to create a unique women’s only instructional event the week prior to the Maui Butterfly Effect.

The combination of this team of gifted coaches will promote an exchange of knowledge and love for water sports and ocean living through instruction and participation.

This special holiday package includes 7 nights shared lodging with your own bed within a private home on the Northshore, use of all kitesurf gear during instructional time and 7-day kiteboard rental Vela Maui, fun full days with kitesurf coaching in both group and personalized sessions, plus happy hour events and evening entertainment with your hosts and guides on Maui. Kitesurfers will attempt Guinness World Record

World kitesurfers have been called for a challenging record attempt. "Kitesurfers United Maui 2012" will be trying to set a Guinness World Record. The idea is simple.
Maui is an ideal kitesurfing spot with steady winds, calm water and warm temperatures. The organization is aiming to setup the largest kiteboarding event ever held, in order to assist the IKA's Olympic commission in their effort to get Kitesurfing into the Olympics. Full Story

The Skymasters Party

Recently Kite Beach Crew Maui put on the1st Annual Skymasters Big Air Kiteboarding Party. Huge kiteboarding jumps and big boosts were had by all with some very impressive heights recorded. Having Too Much Fun to Post

Wind came back! Had a couple of really good days and a couple of really bad days!It was blowing so offshore a couple of days! Yesterday ,I was just ready to launch when 5 guys came in and said, "Don't Go!!!". I looked out and the remaining guys on the water were all down, so I packed it up and went home! Don't have to do that very often, but I think I did the right thing! Went out today and had a great sesh.
